Introduction
This policy describes how data may be processed when using the Megahana website. It applies to the current version of the site, which is a showcase website presenting our services.
Data collected
The site is a showcase website and does not offer account creation. The contact form (Contact page) collects the information you choose to provide: name, email address, subject (optional) and message. This information is sent via Web3Forms, a third-party service that delivers the message to Megahana by email, and is not used for any other purpose. Technical data (for example IP address, browser type, connection logs) may also be processed automatically by the host or the external services used, in order to ensure the operation and security of the site.
Purposes of processing
Information submitted through the contact form is only used to handle your enquiry and reply to you by email. Any technical data processed is used to: • ensure the proper operation of the site; • guarantee its security; • produce, where applicable, technical operating statistics. Commercial exchanges and the client relationship then continue by email, Upwork or LinkedIn depending on the case.
External services used
The contact form uses Web3Forms to deliver messages by email; see their privacy policy for details on how they process data. Commercial exchanges may also take place via Upwork, LinkedIn or email depending on the case — these services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. The site is deployed on Vercel or a suitable platform, which may process technical data as the host.
Retention period
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then deleted if they do not lead to a business relationship. Technical data processed by the host or the external services is retained according to the periods defined by those providers. Exchanges carried out via Upwork, LinkedIn or email are retained according to those services' own policies and the applicable legal obligations (in particular accounting obligations for invoicing documents).
Data sharing
Megahana does not sell your data. The only data processed is handled by the technical and commercial providers mentioned above, within the limits necessary to provide their services.
User rights
In accordance with the applicable data protection regulations (in particular the GDPR for European Union residents), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction regarding your data. Cookies and trackers
As it stands, the site does not use advertising cookies or audience analytics tools requiring your consent. Only cookies or trackers strictly necessary for the technical operation of the site may be used.
